Visits - A dental visit includes more than treatment by the dentist or hygienist. Our staff will help you with insurance billing, convenient appointments, custom tailored financial arrangements and a friendly voice on the telephone.
Your first visit - Providing your first visit is not an emergency treatment, the doctor will perform a complete diagnosis including necessary x-rays, visual exam and any other necessary exams. At that time you and the doctor will make a decision about any treatment he recommends including preventive treatment.

Relaxing Environment - Our office is designed with your comfort in mind. Using a special technique to numb a single tooth, allows you to leave the office without a numb face just to have one tooth treated. Headphones and music are available or oral sedation is available after the doctor has discussed your health history with you.

Children - We want every child's visit to be a positive experience to prepare them for a lifetime of quality dental treatment. With the parents help at home, we can prepare your child for their dental visit so he or she knows what to expect. Making our little patients feel as comfortable and as relaxed as possible prior to their visit is very important to doctor and staff. Dental Hygiene - A registered dental hygienist is a prevention specialist. In our office, she helps you with preventive maintenance by cling your teeth, providing patient education, offering home care tips as well as administering fluoride treatments, periodic x-rays, oral cancer exams and periodic therapy.

Your Protection - We are using the most up to date policies on infection control as well as advocated by the American Dental Association. This includes the use of gloves, masks and protective eyewear for the dental team. We also maintain a very thorough sterilization protocol of dental instruments and treatment of areas to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

Emergencies - Patients of record will be seen the same day in the event of a dental emergency. From time to time, Dr. Castrogiovanni is out of town for continuing education or personal reasons. If you have a dental emergency at that time, office personnel will refer you to another office for treatment. Dr. Castrogiovanni is always willing to talk with you personally, even after hours.
